The Retreat Cottage has its own private drive with stepping stones leading through a shady garden to the cozy (120 sq. ft.) cottage.

The cottage features electric heat, a double loft bed and a tiny bathroom (not pictured) with a sink and composting toilet. Shower facilities are not available. Provisions include minimal kitchen equipment, a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and hot and cold water. (Click on images for a larger version.)

From inside, enjoy the birds while sitting at the writing table. Read by the picture window or climb the ladder for the view from the loft bed.

Outside, stroll through the open pasture and reflect by the meditation garden. Simple furniture invites you to sit and enjoy the natural surroundings.

Check-in after 3pm, out by noon.
